Selected work
Portfolio / Communications leadership

Work with
purpose.

I've spent the better part of a decade turning complexity into clarity—for national sport organizations, philanthropic institutions and the causes people care about most. This is a selection of that work: the messaging, the moments and the reports that had to land right the first time.

01 / Featured work

The work that mattered most.

Every project here answers a different problem—an organization too complex to explain simply, a moment with no room for error, a strategy still waiting for the story that would carry it. I chose these because together they show how I think, not just what I've written.

2025 Annual Report to the Community

UJA's scale is hard to hold in one hand—hundreds of programs, thousands of donors, a community's worth of need. This report makes the case for all of it in language a donor can actually feel.

Holocaust Survivors Support Fund Impact Report

Survivor testimony carries this report, not statistics. My job was to give the numbers just enough room to support the stories, never to crowd them out.

2019 COC Annual Report

A full year of a national sport organization—marketing, digital, operations, the athletes themselves—compressed into one document that still reads like it has a point of view.

AthleteHUB Launch

Eighty resources, thirty organizations, one platform built for athletes who don't have time to go looking. I wrote the launch to make that scale feel like relief, not clutter.

AthletesCAN at Paris 2024

Paris 2024 generated plenty of medal counts. This piece was about the volunteers and athlete leaders who made the cycle possible long before the Games began.

2024 Canadian Sport Awards

A live show has one shot to get the order of operations right—protocol, land acknowledgement, dignitaries, athletes—without ever feeling like a checklist. I wrote every transition to carry that weight.

Vancouver 2010 10th Anniversary

Ten years on, the case for Vancouver 2010 still had to be made fresh: legacy isn't nostalgia, it's an ongoing argument for investment. These are the messages that made it.

Budget 2024 Athlete Assistance Program Statement

An advocacy statement built to hold up in front of government—athletes and community voices asking, specifically, for $35M over five years plus $7M ongoing. No hedging in the ask.

03 / How the work connects

Strategy, story, delivery.

I move between the boardroom and the blank page by design—strategy means nothing until it's written, and writing means nothing until it's grounded in strategy.

01

Clarify

Distill competing priorities into one objective and a promise to the audience.

02

Shape

Build the narrative and messaging architecture that gives the objective form.

03

Activate

Carry the strategy into media, digital, events and executive content.

04

Steward

Hold the work accountable to the people and outcomes it's meant to serve.
